Tuition fees for EU students
What financial support are EU students eligible for?
Since 2021/22, EU nationals applying for places at UK universities have ceased to be eligible for home fee status. This means EU nationals can no longer receive student loans from Student Finance England for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Instead, EU nationals are charged international fee rates at universities in England.
However, if you are an EU national who has , or an Irish national living in the UK or Ireland, you are still eligible for Home fee status. If you fulfil this criteria, you are still eligible for financial support from Student Finance England.
If you are an existing/continuing EU student since 2021/22, you will continue to be funded until you graduate or withdraw from your course.
